Our process begins with a comprehensive 75-minute nutrition assessment, followed by 50-minute follow-up sessions, which typically occur weekly or biweekly. During this time, we’ll delve into your past experiences and your current goals for nutrition support on your path to recovery. Together, we’ll develop tailored skills and objectives to help you thrive based on your individual needs. Learn more about what sessions may include by visiting our services.
How it Works
Finding the Right Provider
Whether you found us on your own or through a referral, we want to ensure you find the right fit for your care. We offer complimentary 15-minute discovery calls with our dietitians, allowing you to get a sense of each provider’s style and personality. To get started visit our providers page to meet the team.
If you prefer, we are happy to schedule you with a provider directly, without a discovery call.
For most people with a diagnosed eating disorder and wanting to make a full recovery, a multi-disciplinary treatment team is essential for effective recovery in an outpatient setting. After the assessment is complete, we will help you establish a team of at least a medical doctor and therapist specializing in treating eating disorders. We can assist you to find experts to work with and we can make referrals at your request. If a team is already in place, we will join the team and introduce ourselves to the team members via phone or e-mail.
If you have reservations about establishing a treatment team, you can bring that up to us after your initial assessment. Ultimately, it is about providing tailored support that is right for you. The value of the treatment team is that we can all collaborate and work with you to provide the best treatment program that can be offered in an outpatient setting. You are at the center of the care team. We are here to support you through the recovery process.
