APPROACH
Erin takes an anti-diet, weight-inclusive approach to nutrition and health. She is passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship with food, movement and body. She practices through a Health At Every Size®-informed lens, implementing principles of Intuitive Eating as appropriate. She incorporates evidenced-based nutrition science combined with exploration of clients’ lived experiences to help clients identify health-supportive practices that work in their own lives.
Her style is person-centered and individualized, providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to meet you where you are at and collaborate with you to take manageable steps towards lasting recovery. Her aim is to support you in fostering self-compassion, self-trust, freedom with food and movement, and peace with your body. She likes to incorporate humor and fun while also holding space for the challenges that clients face while working towards their recovery. Erin acknowledges that she holds several privileged identities (i.e., white, cisgender, thin, able-bodied, financially stable, coming from a nuclear family) that have impacted her own relationship with food and body, and constantly works to identify and dismantle her own biases in efforts to prevent harm while providing nutrition care.
